Greetings and well met my friends. Here you will find many of the things that are a part of medieval from past eras in history. There are pictures of the various arms and armour worn by the warriors of their times along with some patterns for making various armour and weapons.
Please note that pages with a ** after them are still under construction
Check out the 'What's New?' section below for updates on the various things on this site.
You can also find out what has been happening around town and around the state of WA for activities and events being held by the groups by checking out 'What's Happening?'.

Lots has been happening lately, change-over of the Baron and Baroness of the SCA group here in WA (Aneala), Past-times festival held by Grey Company and lots of tourneys and feasts over the last few months.
Monday 20th May 2002
So much has happened that I haven't even had time to update the website!! The Autumn war went off extremely well with nearly 30 archers and about 6 fighters on the field! It was a glorious weekend for all who attended and I look forward to future wars and tourneys.
There are many events being scheduled for the coming months, so head on over to the events section to read about them.
Friday 8th February 2002
This year is roaring ahead with activities, all the groups have various activities organised up till April and with more in the pipelines. The SCA has the Knights School in March, along with feasts and a "WAR" in April. The Grey Company have their birthday coming up soon and lots of other events and shows coming up.
The SCA Oriental fest went quite well and lots of people attended, it was a great night and there were people with lots of oriental dresses and garb that looked superb!!
From what I heard, the Grey Co adventurer's feast went quite well with a new party of fearless adventurers being chosen from the ranks for this years adventures, may they be prosperous and victorious over their enemies!
Tuesday 2nd January 2002
This year looks to be a promising year ahead for all the medieval groups in Western Australia. I know that there will be plenty of events coming up for people to come along to and the recommencement of armouring and training once the summer season passes.
Tuesday 14th August 2001
The Midwinter Feasts for both SCA and Grey Co were both excellent and for those who missed out on going, make sure you get in early next year!.
Monday 11th June 2001
Since I last updated the web site much has happened. There has been a new SCA college start up at The University of Western Australia and they had a feast which was quite a success. Also, we have had some great combat archery games up at a farm near Gidgegannup and these were quite enjoyable. I have photos from these events and they will be put in the Gallery section in the near future.
In COTS we had a feast held at the Moon & Sixpence in Perth which was a great success and I won an award for participation above and beyond the call of duty. We also had a medieval birthday party display to go to on Saturday night (9th June) and that was a fantastic event, with the crowd joining in and lots of fun had by all.
Tuesday 3rd April 2001
Sorry for not updating the web site over the last few weeks, with a busy job and lifestyle I have not had much time nor the inclination to be updating this site. You could say that with a job involving working with computers and fixing problems etc you'd be stuffed if you'd be bothered to use the computer when you get home!!!
Anyway, there has been heaps happening since I last updated the site. We had a royal visit on the 17th and 18th of March which was a huge success with a fighter auction held on behalf of the Baroness and a fabulous feast with much rejoicing and entertainment to be had.
I would like to take this opportunity in congratulating my friend Tony aka 'Joachim' for his authorisation as a heavy fighter on the day! Well done Tony!
On Saturday the 17th March, I was
also involved in meeting up with 'The Hall of Heroes and Heroines', a role
playing club which meets every Sunday in Perth. They were quite impressed
with my armour and equipment and I thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon relaxing
and playing cricket!
There was also a combat archery war
held with members of the Grey Company and SCA participating on March 31st up
at a farm in Gidgegannup. This day was a great success and I look forward to
more such days in the future!
And last but not least, there was a
Baronial fighter bash at Lake Monger Primary School on Sunday 1st April in
place of the April Fool's Tourney (due to site being unavailable). This day
was also quite enjoyable and I would like to congratulate my friend Dave aka
'Conan' for winning this tournament unexpectedly. Conan performed
brilliantly in combat with some stunning blows which even surprised himself!
Well done Dave!
Also, before I go, I would like to wish Peter D'Gaunt a safe and enjoyable trip over to the UK to meet up with family he hasn't seen in nearly 40 years!
Sunday 18th February 2001
Yesterday at D'Gaunts place we had a party to welcome over his long lost brother who he hadn't seen in over 35 years! It was a wonderful occasion with a buffet BBQ and lots to drink and be merry. Everyone including myself had a wonderful time and I wish D'Gaunt all the best when he goes to England to meet with his newly found relatives.
Sunday 11th February 2001
Yesterday, COTS had a wedding performance at the old Barnyard Restaurant on the Old Mandurah Road in Baldivis. 11 members including myself, turned up and got dressed in various bits of armour and costumes and put on some awesome displays for the weddings. Most of the fighters wore chain mail and there were quite a few good fights with humourous kills! All up it was a great evening and everyone had heaps of fun!
Also, I would like to mention that the Labour Party swept into power by winning a mammoth 11 seats from the opposition. I wish the Labour Party all the best and I hope that they do a bloody good job over the next 4 years - not like those damn Liberal blokes!
Saturday 3rd February 2001
On Saturday the 20th January the SCA held their annual Midsummer feast at Point Reserve in Bassendean. It was an excellent night for all who came along with music and poetry competitions being held and some awards for duty in furthering the Barony and Kingdom being presented along with an award for the best Poetry on the night. I'll get some photos up in the future when and if I can get some.
The Chivalric Shooting competition was held on Sunday the 28th of January and it was quite an enjoyable occasion. Many people, including myself, took part in this Archery tournament and it was quite relaxing as well as entertaining to watch people show their skills in archery or lack thereof!
At the end of the day the final tally was 1st place with Jean Pierre de Sabre on 148 points and Baron Nathan coming in a close 2nd place with 147 points! Well done to all who took part in the Archery competition!
Tuesday 19th December 2000
I would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful and happy New Year. I will be quite busy over the next few weeks with the festive season so don't worry if this site is not updated until early January.
When I next do an update, I will have some great photos and information and some new links to some excellent web sites!
Monday 11th December 2000
On the weekend just gone, 9th & 10th December, the SCA had a special royal visit from the eastern states of the principality of Lochac (otherwise known as Australia). This was an auspicious occasion as we also had one of our lords knighted!
The Prince, the newly knighted Sir Randall and the Baron & Baroness.
The Knights with their newest member.
There were tournaments of archery, light and heavy combat on both days and feasting on the Saturday night! All round it was a marvellous event and everyone had heaps of fun - there was even a breathtaking fire breathing and twirling display put on by two of the members!!
There were also a number of awards given out for services to the barony and to the principality by the royalty and I hope to have some photos that I took of the event up in the gallery as soon as possible.
Monday 4th December 2000
Today COTS had their wedding display and combat on at the Tranquillity Wedding Gardens in Wanneroo. The show was excellent with about six members coming along - everyone had a great time and the wedding guests were immensely enjoying it! We had a small display with about ten minutes of impromptu acting and then we had some freestyle fighting which entertained the crowd, with some of them even joining in with their own antics!
Overall it was a great show, although it was quite hot! The bride and groom had a great wedding and we were proud to put on a display for their guests. I would like to take this opportunity to wish the newlywed couple a long-lasting and happy marriage :-)
Saturday 2nd December 2000
Overall the afternoon at the Fair was a resounding success and it proved to be quite popular with the younger generation of watchers. I look forward to seeing many more such display from the awesome 'Circle of the Sword' group!

Hi everyone, I hope you are all well! I had an awesome New Year and I am still recovering from it now! (so much for hangover cures!!! LOL) I had to do a major update to the site with the html coding as I went on the net on Saturday and found the site had changed a tiny bit. After a couple of hours searching for the coding to fix these glitches (not mine but my web site host's) I hopefully have everything back to normal. If you find that something is not working or there is a problem with the way it works, email me and I'll fix it ASAP.

Due to circumstances beyond my control my car engine decided to stuff up on the 14th October - hence a new engine and a very stressful couple of weeks! As a result I haven't been much in the mood for working on the site - but rest assured, once my car is fixed and I am back on the road I will continue updating this site.
