Brewing Beer for Feasts
Many people who are members of the various WA Medieval groups brew their own
beer for drinking. This came about because back in the old days, people usually
made their own beer or the locally produced beer was not the same as beer or ale
drunk today. This also allows for the authenticity of brewing from the medieval
days.
To brew a beer you nee the following:
- A beer brewing keg
- Beer brewing mix available from most supermarkets
- Plenty of empty beer bottles or stubbies (usually it is best to ask your
local restaurant to keep their empty beer bottles or stubbies for you so
that you can get them for free!).
- bottle or stubby caps.
- A bottle/stubby capper for capping your bottles and stubbies.
- A hammer if you cap your bottles/stubbies manually.
- Sugar.
- Other tools as necessary.
