New Equipment

  • Nic has an expensive Ender V2 that they want to sell for a fraction of the price to the club.

    • Its like half off of shelf price w/ 3 rolls of fillament.
    • Might be good if the 3d printer we have is irreplacable.

Multiplayer LAN Party

  • it went well
  • it was mostly the usual ucc members
    • probably due to poor advertising
  • no issues with setting up games

UniLAN

  • pretty good wrap up
  • some new people on the "subcom"
  • talked about future goals and next event
    • Ucc is holding Unilan money currently
    • People wanted to keep putting it towards unilan and buying new equipment
      • mixed opinions on what to do
  • if people want to open a trust fund with the money, ucc will not be involved. We will just transfer the money
  • will do something about it at the end of the year
  • if we dont follow subcom regs (or a slightly modified version) [GPO] will not be involved in the following event
    • if they dont follow them after agreeing [GPO] will call em out

    • email about running a stall at curtin
    • they want us to represent computing
      • respond by august 7th
      • committee thinks we should do it
    • we neeed to figure out what event we would run

      • VR setup might be the way to go
  • we can bring the rock pis and do a similar thing to [MPT]s tech talks
    • have to make it simple enough to show in a short period of time

    • can create a chat room and people can mess around with it
